UDF vs ISO: Why won't my CD-RW work in Another PC?

Infopackets Reader Philip S. writes: " Dear Dennis, I use Windows XP and I often write my data to CD-RW (CD rewritable) discs. The problem is that some computers won't read the discs that I've created, whereas others will. Packet Writing

Packet writing is a technique used to allow writeable CD-ROM and DVD-ROM media to be used in a similar manner to a floppy disk. Packet writing can be used both with write-once read-many (WORM media) such as CD-R, DVD+R and DVD-R, and also with ... rewriteable media such as CD-RW, DVD+RW and DVD-RW. Recall - - Last week I talked about a utility called ISOBuster, which is able to retrieve data from stubborn DVD and CDs. Unfortunately I wasn't 100% correct when I reported that ISOBuster is freeware.
