Password Saver: Features
- Easy to Use and Install: Password Saver records are stored in user-defined folders, just like on the familiar Windows desktop, and can be easily accessed using the tree-like menu. Commonly used features are displayed on the toolbar.
- Industrial Strength Encryption: Password Saver provides unrivalled encryption technology to ensure your password database is kept extremely secure. Password databases are protected by strong U.S. government approved AES/Rijndael encryption using a 256-bit key and all of CryptoAPI algorithms.
- Folder and Record Templates: Password Saver has a number of pre-defined folder and record templates so you can quickly get started adding data. Folder and record templates are given for e-mail accounts, Web site accounts, credit card accounts, and many more commonly used account types.
- Custom Folder and Record Templates: In addition to the pre-defined templates, Password Saver allows you to create your own custom folder and record templates or customize pre-defined templates based on your own unique needs. Store any kind of data!
- Password Generator: Since you no longer need to remember your passwords, you can now create passwords which are truly secure. The Password Generator feature will automatically generate random alphanumeric passwords of the length of your choosing. Since these passwords contain no words or numbers that are easily attributed to you, they are virtually impossible to guess!
- Password Sharing: Password Saver provides export and import functionality which lets you share passwords with your co-workers easily and securely. You can export your entire database, or just specific folders or records to an encrypted file, which your co-workers can then import directly into their own databases.
- Portability: Each Password Saver database is stored in a single file, similar to the database scheme used in Microsoft Office. These encrypted files can be easily stored and accessed from virtually anywhere, including fixed media such as local hard drives and removable media such as USB flash disks, floppy disks or ZIP drives. Take your passwords wherever you go!
