Web links in Outlook Express don't work?

" First of all, thanks for your newsletters. They are informative and very helpful. My question is this: When I click on a web address in my e-mails nothing happens. I am plagued with the old cut, copy and paste. Is there a way to get Outlook Express to open up the web address in my Internet Explorer browser? "
My answer:
I've been asked this question a few times in the past but can honestly say that I've never experienced the problem myself. Every link I've ever clicked on in Outlook Express works for me. The only thing I can think of which might block a browser Window from opening up within Outlook Express is some type of 3rd party ad-blocking software.
For example: I've got a pop up killer installed on my machine, called Pop Up Stopper. When it's set for "aggressive mode", I must press and hold the CTRL key on my keyboard *with* the left mouse button for any link which opens up a new browser Window within Outlook Express. The reason why I have to do this is so that Outlook Express doesn't flip pop up Windows in my face when I receive spam emails that have pop ups.
Other than that, I'm not aware of any Outlook Express option that blocks web links when clicked. If you know the answer to this question, you are welcome to email me.
